ARTZUID 3-hour tour in numbers:
until 15 September 2019 only, 3 km walk, 2-3 min talk about each of +- 35 sculptures, 25 artists, 1 toilet break.
"We are going for a walk and, meanwhile, getting acquainted with the summer festival of contemporary sculpture and art installations ARTZUID in Amsterdam. This festival takes place only once every two years and this year it is absolutely amazing!
- We will start from Rijksmuseum gardens and talk about four absolutely crazy works by Louise Bourgeois that are presented at the exhibition.
- Then walk down Museum square and check four other artists on the way.
- After that we will walk for 15 min to the main exhibition of ARTZUID, the “T”-shape crossing of Apollo and Minerva avenues. We will see and talk about the (+-) thirty most interesting outdoor sculptures and one indoor masterpiece at the Hilton hotel. There is a short toilet/coffee/snack break here on your demand. Our finishing point would be near Amsterdam Zuid station, very convenient to travel anywhere you want from there.
And, obviously, your questions are welcome at all times."
With love for art,
